All European member states are obliged to determine the exposure of people and dwellings in numbers per 5dB noise classes for all large agglomerations and major infra structures every 5 years. The next round of these EU noise mapping projects has to be finished in June 2022 using the new CNOSSOS-EU method. The new CNOSSOS-EU method replaces the EU interim methods ISO 9613, NMPB-2008 and RMR.
On Tuesday 19th of May our partner Softnoise will present the free webinar ‘Modelling with CNOSSOS-EU part 2’. This webinar will show you how to calculate the exposure to environmental noise using Predictor and the CNOSSOS-EU method. Subjects are Receivers on facades, Address points, Tiling and exporting the EU-population data.
