iNoise Version 2027 released with exciting new features

The new iNoise Version 2027, just released, includes a wide range of exciting new features including more result types, useful modelling tools and functions, the latest international standards and changes in configurations.

The Table of Results and Noise Contours are enhanced, adding LAeq and Lden per source category, and LAmax and Li for industrial noise. The CNOSSOS noise exposed area now includes results per source type.

Selected enhancements in useful modelling tools and functions include:

  • Added support for importing data from OGC API services to provide access to up-to-date online geographic information
  • Added bridge items for ISO 9613-2:2024 and CNOSSOS-EU.
  • Change Property Value function now with Search and Replace option makes modelling easier.
  • New Hexagonal horizontal grid for professional results.
  • Improved results sidebar enabling all relevant result types to be selected from one location.
  • Added category grouping in the sidebar item tree, Item List and Group Manager, making items easier to locate.

ISO 9613-2:2024/DAM 1:2026 is supported.

Changes in iNoise configurations help DGMR better support all our users. The new iNoise Corporate licence is introduced for larger users with Company license now limited to 5 named users. For iNoise Free, KML Export is now available; the maximum number of sources is reduced from 20 to 10; Source Explorer, SourceDB, Wind Turbine Catalogue, Search and Select, OGC-API import are not available.
